BEQUESTS UNDER WILL
LATE MR. W. FRANCIS MANUREWA CHILDREN’S HOME Among the bequests under the will of the late William Francis, formerly of Christchurch, and late of Ashburton, there is one for the Manurewa Children's Home, Auckland. The following bequests are made: (a) The sum of £IOO to the Original Industrial School, Liberton, Edinburgh, Scotland; (b) the sum of £IOO to the Aged Christian Friend Society of Scotland; (c) a War Bond to the value of £ 100 to the Salvation Army at Christchurch, to be expended in the furtherance of Prison Gate Brigade work. The residue of the estate, which will be fairly considerable, is to be divided equally between the Royal Blind Asylum, Glasgow, Scotland, the Royal Blind Asylum, Edinburgh, Scotland, the Edinburgh Royal Institution for the education of Deaf and Dumb, and the Manurewa Children’s Home, Auckland.
