PUKEKOHE ORPHANS
The annual meeting of the Pukekohe Orphans’ Club was held last evening, the president, Mr. H. H. Pattle, presiding. The report showed a profit of £ 9 3s on the year’s working, the season closing with a membership of 78. Officers elected were: Patron, Mr. C. K. Laiurie; president, Mr. R. Farrell; vice-presidents, Messrs. F. Perkins, H. H. O’Loughlan, M. R. Grierson, E. G. Foster, F. A. Hosking; secretary, Mr. T. H. Hankin; treasurer, Mr. H. H. O’Laughlen; auditor, Mr. M. S. Campbell; executive committee, Messrs. M. R. Grierson, F. A. Hosking, R. Fulton, H. H. Pattle, H. Burrows, E. G. Foster, Dr. Abernethy; pianists, Messrs .S. Edwards, J. Puryer, and T. Sparling.
The subscription was fixed at £1 15s.
