SPENT FOR VERY LITTLE RESULT So far as the elections yesterday were concerned, and the City Coudhl elections associated with the Hospital Board and Harbour Board in particular, Auckland has spent several thousand pounds, in return for which the council has lost three good members, who have been replaced by members who have yet to prove their worth, and the other two bodies have each changed one member. The bill for this little venture will run into a very considerable amount.
