Notice is hereby given that the supply of power to the Wnitemata Electric Power Board’s area will be switched off by the Public Works Department on SUNDAY NEXT, May 1, 1927, to enable work to be carried out on the Government transmission line from Horahora. The period of interruption in the various areas will be as follows: Takapuna, Northcote, Birkenhead and A.C. Area in Devonport, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Henderson, Glen Eden and New Lynn, 9 a.m. to mid-day. Helensville and Country District North of Kumeu, 9 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. In the event of the weather being unfavourable the shut-down will be postponed to a later date, of which due notice will be given.
