LITTLE BUSINESS DONE BANK OF N.Z. SELLING A dull tone for most classes of stocks was registered on the Auckland Stock Exchange this morning. Bank of New Zealand shares are active, sales being made at £2 19s 9d and £3. Other bank stocks are quiet, with a tendency for a weakening in the market for some Australian parcels. In the coal section. Hetheringtons are apparently weaker, no buyers quoting at either of this morning’s calls, though sellers still ask 6s. A weak demand for both Alburnias and Kawaraus -is practically the only noticeable movement in mining, little business being transacted. SALES REGISTERED At yesterday afternoon’s call, Bank of New Zealand, £3; Colonial Sugar £6O 10s; Sanford’s (ord.), £1 2s; Kawarau, 3s sd.
