LED IN WINNERS

Yesterday was a joy day for the Cambridge owner-trainer R. Hannon, for he saddled up five horses and won with three of them: Lord Star, York Abbey and Tinokoa. This placed him at the head of winning trainers at the Avondale fixture. Other successful trainers were: G. Paul (Aussie and Papatu), K. Heaton Lady Robinson), A. Kemp (Town Guard), C. Hudder (Day Bell), H. Barr (Harbour View), O. Cox (Lady Cavendish), W. Kemp (King Emerald), A. Jarvis (King Merv), C. Reidy (Tea Lady), J. W. Anderton (Passionate), S. Cleaver (Passin’ Through) and W. Townsend (Barometer).
