A NOVEL FURNISHING IDEA
“Who steals my purse steals trash, but he who pilfers from my cellar steals good furniture.” Such a variaton of the well-known quotation might be appled to this table and chairs, even the lampshade, obviously made from casks. Its dull orange top finding a matching note in the upholstery of the chars, the glossy black-painted table has a strengthening cross-piece to make the “Jegs” secure and prevent “wobble.” The brass-nails design is an important feature, doing much to relieve the rather squat effect.
