BABY’S PLAYGROUND
A length of trellis wood placed around a dining or nursery table makes an ideal temporary playground to keep baby within bounds. It can be quickly erected and taken down, saves moving furniture to make space for a special “pen,” and is very suitable for a small home. The trellis, which can be bought cheaply in lengths 12ft. by 2ft. high, pulls up or down to varying heights. Cut it in four sections, to fit the ends and sides of the table to be used. Leave two ends to be tied together, but join the others with wire rings, to form the corners, so that the pen can be folded up neatly when not in use and put in a corner.
