RAILWAYMEN AGAINST IT At its recent conference the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants decided definitely to have nothing whatever to do with the formation of workshops committees as suggested by the production engineer, Mr. E. T. L. Spidy. Railwaymen are of opinion that this proposal is the thin edge of the wedge to introduce the premium bonus system, which they condemn, and will not tolerate in any shape or form.
