RIFLEMEN’S STIFF TEST SHOOTING UNDER DIFFICULTIES A bad light and frequent rain showers put a premium on good marksmanship at the Akarana Rifle Shooting Club’s third competition shoot on Saturday afternoon. Two sections fired off the three top men in each division scoring three, two, and one point respectively for the trophies donated by Messrs. A. R. Shove and A. W. Powell. Silver spoons were won by Riflemen A. E. Hughes and T. Elliott, senr. Details are: A Section (Mr. A. R. Shove’s trophy.— S. Elliott, 43 at 600 yards, 41 at 700 yards, total, 84 ; F. J.
