Baildon, must have longed for a rubber stamp yesterday afternoon, when he waded through the task of signing 700 debentures representing £.70.000 filtration plant loan. The task took four hours, and even that was easy compared with a little job before Christmas, when 5,000 debentures demanded the Mayor’s signature.
