MILFORD MEETING Mr. E. Tilly presided at a meetinj held by the Takapuna United Borough “ticket” in Bridgeway Theatre last evening. Mr. J. D. Morison, the present mayor, explained to a large gathering of ratepayers Ills municipal policy. The purchase of the Takapuna ferriei by the Devonport Steam Ferry Company opened a new phase for discussion concerning the purchase policy of the United Ticket. The council still claim purchase option.
