PRODUCTION FOR MARCH The output of the Whangarei Dairy Company- for the month of March was 130 tons 13 cwt., compared with 90 tons 3 cwt. for the same period last year, the increase being 40 tons 10 cwt. The total output for the season to March 31 was 99S tons, compared with 809 tons for the same period last year, the increase this season being IS9 tons. The pay-out for the month of March is to be Is Id. At this figure the total pay-out will amount to £12,700, compared with £ 10,950 last March, when the pay-out was Is 4d, the total increase this March being £1,720 and the decrease in pay-out per lb. 3d. The pay-out for the season up to March 31 this year is £108.106. as against £99,511 for the same period last year, the difference, £8,595, being in favour of this year. Hikurangi Factory The Hikurangi Dairy Company's output for March was 121 tons 4 cwt. 3 qrs., compared with 74 tons 8 cwt. for the same month last year, this year’s returns showing an increase of 46 tons 16 cwt. 3 qrs. The total output for the season to March 31 was 923 tons 11 cwt., compared with b“94 tons 14 cwt. for the same period last year, the increase for the season up to date being 228 tons 17 cwt. The pay-out for the month of March is to be Is o|d for superfine, the total amounting to £11,084 19s 2d. Last March the total pay-out was £8,274 5s Id at Is 3d. The increase in cash this month is £2,360 14s Id, and the decrease per lb. 2£d. The total payout for the season to the end of March is £105,309 10s 2d, compared with £86,595 8s 8d for the same period last year, the increase this year being £18,714 Is 6d. The payout for March at the Northern Wairoa Dairy Company’s factory is Is, involving £18,395 3s, compared with £17,119 18s last March, when the pay-out was Is 2d. Bay of Islands Company The Bay of Islands Company’s payout for March was 40 tons 9 cwt. 3 qrs., compared with 29 tons 12 cwt. 2 qrs. for the same month last year, showing an increase of 10 tons 17 cwt. 1 qr. or 37 per cent. The payout for the month of March is at llid for first grade and Is for superfine, the total amounting to £4,452 10s 3d, as against £3,865 last March, when the payout was Is 2d a lb. In addition to the month’s payout, the company made a final payment of 2-3 d on 1925-26 season, amounting to £1,951.
