Despite the low prices in London for dairy produce, farmers are finding some comfort in the fact that production is being maintained at an exceptionally high level, and the output of butter and cheese the district promises to eclipse all "previous records. The advance payments for but-ter-fat for most dairy companies will range round Is per lb. for butter. The advance payments made by companies operating in this district are:—Butter: New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., Is; Te Awamutu Co-operative Dairy Co., Is Oid; Waikato Dairy Co., Ltd., Is. Cheese: New Zealand Cooperative Dairy Co., Is; Kakepuku Cooperative Dairy Co., Ltd., lid.
