THE GRAND

“DON JUAN” Bright and entertaining is the story which has been woven round the legend of Don Juan and transferred to the screen in the picture of the same name now showing at the Grand Theatre. The supreme artistry of John Barrymore has enabled the full strength of the Don’s fiery nature to be depicted in a most convincing manner. The film

has been conceived on most artistic lines and at the same time it contains ample excitement and adventure. Of special beauty are the magnificent costumes and settings. Here are seen the great pomp and splendour which characterised the glory of Rome in the fifteenth century. Barrymore is supported by a specially-selected cast, the smallest parts being taken by tried favourites.
