VERDICT AT INQUEST Press Association WHANGAREI. To-day. At the inquest on Daniel Rumbal, who put kerosene on his clothing and set fire to himself. Mr. W. J. Hall, medical superintendent, deposed, that death was due to shock and heart failure following burns. The police produced letters to , deceased's parents bidding good-bye and telling them of his intentions, adding a word of appreciation to the doctors who treated his complaint, and to the matron, sisters and nurses. A verdict was returned that death was due to shock and heart failure following burns self-inflicted in a fit of mental depression.
