GRAFTON BRIDGE VICTIM IDENTIFIED

A FORMER RESIDENT The body of the man who jumped from the Grafton Bridge on Wednesday evening has now definitely been identified as that of Joseph Lennane, who resided at 173 Grafton Road some years ago. He was identified by Mr. Edward Hunter, tramway employee, who knew Lennane when he resided in Grafton Road, and also by Mrs. Sarah Burgess, of Nelson Street. Lennane is known to have a brother, Hugh Lennane, whose last address was No. 1 Camp. Arapuni. There is also a sister. Mrs. Sutton, who formerly resided at 26 Brown Street, Ponsonby.
