LUCKY DEVONPORT
NOT ONE MOSQUITO That Devonport is to be congratulated on being mosquito-less is the opinion of the officer (Mr. Graham) of the Auckland Museum, who inspects Auckland Province for noxious insects. The periodical cleaning-up of the borough is stated to be the primary reason for the absence of the pests. In his opinion, a spraying in February of each year of all places where water lodges would ensure that the borough would be mosouito-free always.
