INFECTIOUS DISEASES
(.Special to THE SUN.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. The Medical Officer of the Infectious Diseases Hospital, Dr. J. F. Duncan, states that it was many years since infectious diseases were less prevalent in Christchurch. On April 12 there were only nine cases of scarlet fever and five of diphtheria in the institution.
