RIALTO
“WOMAN POWER” “Woman Power,” a Fox production, and “The Runaway Express” are the chief features on the present programme at the Rialto Theatre John Bromley, the son of a wealthy man, causes some excitement in society by his frequent escapades. He becomes infatuated with a cabaret dancer and one night creates a scene in the cabaret upon finding the lady with another man, and he is thrown out by her latest lover. The episode is given prominence in the newspapers and he earns the name of coward. Stung by a sense of shame he goes into training and does away with riotous living. His new life opens out a new happiness for him, and he comes to the realisation of a truer and greater love when he discovers that his old infatuation for the cabaret dancer has disappeared. “The Runaway Express” is an exciting story of railway life, with Jack Laugherty in the chief role.
