PLENTY OF SUNSHINE

LONDON’S EASTER SUNDAY KING AND QUEEN AT WINDSOR By Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright LONDON, Monday. Easter Sunday was cool, but there were 12 hours of brilliant sunshine. Great crowds of London residents were attracted to Hampstead Heath, Kew and other parks, and the Thames-side towns were thronged. The roads were alive with motorcars, the occupants of which had every prospect of spending a most enjoyable holiday. King George and Queen Mary attended the evening service at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor. The building presented a lovely spectacle after its reconstruction. Princess Elizabeth was the recipient of Easter eggs and other presents from Queen Mary and Viscountess Lascelles, whose two sons are taking great delight in their baby cousin.— A. and N.Z.
