TAX ON TRAVELLERS
LICENSED COMMERCIALS MOVE IN ENGLAND By Cable. — Press Association. — Copyright. LONDON, Sunday. A resolution that commercial travellers should be taxed and licensed was unanimously adopted by the conference of the National Union of Commercial Travellers, on the ground of self-protection. It was stated that 85,000 travellers are employed, and it was suggested that British travellers should be taxed £lO, the representatives of foreign houses £ls, and foreigners £2O each. —Sun.
