NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION Press Association. MASTERTON, Monday. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Referees’ Association, held at Carterton, officers were elected as follows; President, Mr. D. McKenzie, Wellington; executive, Messrs J. Francis, H. Leith, E. S. Hylton, H. J„ McKenzie, T. A. Fletcher and A M. Sims; hon. secretary. Mr. L. Sievers. It was decided to hold the next annual conference at Nelson. • A motion moved by a Hawltes’ delegate that, with a view to mori direct control, the duties of the secretary of the New Zealand Rugby Union and the New' Zealand Referees’ Association be combined, was lost.
