ISLAND STEAMER TOFUA.— From Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji the Union Company’s Island steamer Tofua is due at Auckland early to-morrow morning. She will berth at King’s Wharf to land passengers, mails and cargo. BRINGING SUGAR. —In addition to the Baron Graham, due at Auckland from Cuba next Wednesday, and the Baron Ruthven, due from Cuba on May 7, the steamer Maryland, 4,731 tons, has also been chartered to load sugar at Cuba for Auckland. TO COMPLETE LOADING. — To complete loading for Home the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Horatius is due at Auckland on Wednesday from Gisborne. The local agents, L. D. Nathan and Company hope to despatch the vessel next Saturday for London. THE CANADIAN EXPLORER— According to cable advice the Canadian Explorer, which sailed from Auckland on March 5 for New York, Boston, and Montreal, arrived at New York last Thursday. MATATUA HOME. —Cable advice received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company states that the Matatua which loaded in New Zealand and sailed from Wellington on March 4, arrived at London on Saturday last.

ROYAL MAIL STEAM ERS.— Advice i received by the Union Company states i that the R.M.S. Makura arrived at Sydney on Saturday from Wellington, and the R.M.S. Tahiti reached San Francisco on Friday from Wellington. PORT CAMPBELL REPORTED.— An arrival at New York on Friday was the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Campbell. The vessel sailed from Auckland on March 11 for New York, Boston, and London. OMANA COMING. —The Northern Company have been advised by cable that the Lamb steamer Omana sailed from Newcastle on Saturday for Auckland, where she is due on Friday. TAMAROA REPORTS.— A wireless report from the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tamaroa states that she is experiencing fine weather and all are well on board. The vessel sailed from Wellington on April 9 with passengers for Southampton and cargo for London. CANADIAN BRITISHER REPORTED.—The Canadian Britisher, en route from Halifax to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin, is reported to have reached Colon last Thursday. She is due at Auckland •about May 12. SYDNEY STEAMER. —According to radio advice received the Huddart Parker steamer Ulimaroa is due at Auckland at 4 p.m. to-day from Sydne3 r . After pratique has been granted the vessel will berth about 5 p.m. at Central Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. RUAHINE TO COMPLETE.— The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahine is due at Wellington from Lyttelton on Wednesday morning to fill up with cargo for England. With passengers she is scheduled to sail at daybreak next Saturday for Southampton and London, via Panama. HURUNUI ARRIVES.— To lift further cargo under the auspices of the N.Z. Shipping Company the steamer Hurunui arrived at Auckland last evening from Opua and berthed at the Queen’s Wharf. She later proceeds to Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington to complete, sailing finally from Wellington about May 4 for Avonmouth, Glasgow, Manchester, and Liverpool via Panama. OUTWARD BOUND.— The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Arawa is reported to have reached Colon on Friday, en route from Liverpool to Auckland. The vessel is bringing passengers for New Zealand and cargo from West of Great Britain ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on May 6. CANADIAN CHALLENGER.— The Canadian Challenger is to leave Lyttelton to-morrow for Timaru and Dunedin to complete unloading cargo from Halifax. Afterwards the vessel will load at South Island ports and Wellington and then return to Auckland to fill up with general cargo for New York, Boston and Montreal. She is due at this port on April 29, and the following day she is to be despatched for New York. SOMERSET RADIOS. —The Federal Line steamer Somerset has reported by wireless that she will reach Auckland from Brisbane at noon to-mor-row. The vessel is coming to New Zealand to load refrigerated and general cargo for London. She will load a quantity at Queen’s Wharf, and the remainder of her cargo at Napier, Port Chalmers, and W'ellington. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. PORT AUCKLAND TO LOAD.— Now unloading London cargo ; i Australia. the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Auckland v, ill afterwards load' in New Zealand for London. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company advise that she is to reach Auckland from New Plymouth on May 20. Her other loading ports are Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne, and Wellington. She will be despatched from Wellington for London via the Cape Horn route. PORT DARWIN DUE— The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Darwin, which is coming to New Zealand to fill up with refrigerated cargo, dairy produce and general cargo for England, has reported by wireless that she will arrive at Auckland at three o’clock this afternoon. She will berth at Queen’s Wharf to load to the agency of Heather, Roberton, Limited. Her other loading ports are New Plymouth, Wanganui, Port Chalmers, and Wellington. She is to be despatched from Wellington for London via Montevideo early in May.
