Gold Find in Silesia. —lt is reported that rich deposits of alluvial gold have been discovered in a Polish Silesian swamp. The region extends for 80 miles. Dredging on a large scale has been commenced. It is reported that the yield is five grammes of gold and V»-n grammes of silver to the ton. —A. and N.Z.
