BEWARE OF THE DOGS! (Copyright, 1927.) THERE are fifteen dogs that live along the road of life. They are unchained, unmuzzled, and dangerous. Beware of the dogs! They all seem especially fond of the ten nicy meat which yuur.n provides. If you can avoid them during the first half of journey you wjll be comparatively safe during the latter half. I will f ell you the names of these fifteen dogs that infest the highway of life. Then you can recognise them when they appear and be on your guard. One is named, “What’s the Use?” Another is called, “It Can’t Be Done.” A third, “You’re Young Only Once.” The fourth, “Some Other Time.” The fifth, “No One Will Ever Know.” A sixth is known as, “I Know It All.” Another, “It’s Easy Money.” Another, “Let It Go!” ‘ if The ninth dog is named, “The World Owes Me a Living Anyhow." The tenth dog is, “Just This Once.” The eleventh, “I Guess.’* “Another is called, “Let Yourself Go.” The thirteenth is, “Let George Do It.” The fourteenth, “Don’t Be Old-Fashioned.” The fifteenth, “Look Out for Number One.” a All of the fifteen snap at the unwary sooner or later and nip them witn disappointment, failure and regrets. But none of them can bite you while you stop and think.
