EASTER TENNIS TOURNEY
BIRKENHEAD-NORTHCOTE DETAILS OF SATURDAY’S PLAY The Birkenhead and Northcote Lawn Tennis Club continued its Easter Handicap tournament on Saturday, under ideal weather conditions. The popularity of this progressive club’s Activities was expressed on all sides. Everything possible was done to ensure the complete enjoyment of the visitors. An excellent lunch was served by the ladies’ committee and tea was on from early in the afternoon until play finished. The day’s play was productive of some ▼ery fine tennis, especially in the combined doubles. A feature of the tourney were the junior championship games.
