BIG TOTALISATOR RETURNS The glorious autumn weather continued right to the end of the Auckland Racing Club’s programme at Ellerslie on Saturday, and a most enjoyable day’s sport terminated successfully, a fact upon which the secretary, Mr. W. S. Spence, and his staff and officials are to be congratulated. The totalisator turnover was very satisfactory, the. sum of £81,977$ being handled, as against £86,240$ on the opening day of the club’s last autumn fixture, there being seven races on both occasions.
