GRAFTON BRIDGE
TO BE PAVED SHORTLY Paving of Grafton Bridge will commence within a fortnight. The Xeuchatel Asphalt Company will do the work at a contract price of £994. There are 2567 square yards, so the price is at 7s 9d a yard. The new paving will be two inches thick, and the old surface will be removed before the new is laid.
