SERIES OF FIRES
DUNEDIN BRIGADE BUSY Press Association DUNEDIN, Friday. The Fire Brigade has had seven calls within the last 24 hours. There were two bush fires, and two chimney fires. A six-roomed house owned by a man named Jenkins in Craigleith Street, North East Valley, was completely gutted this afternoon, and a house in Eglinton was extensively damaged this morning. At mid-day two rooms in a house in Carroll Street, owned by Mr. R. S. Stedman, were damaged.
