THE REGENT

SPECIAL EASTER BILL Hector St. Clair, the inimitable comedian, will commence his return season at the Regent Theatre this evening, when “You Never Know Women,” starring Florence Vidor, will be screened for the last time. Eddie Horton, at the Mighty Wurlitzer, will play Handel’s stately “Largo” and “Souvenir,” while the operatic orchestra, under the baton of Maurice Guttridge, will give appropriate selections. “The Rat” is a sensational British production, starring the famous Englist artists, Ivor Novello and Isabel Jeans. A gripping drama of the Apache quarter of Paris, it thrills while yet it sways, and audiences will sit spellbound as reel after reel of absorbing incidents are unfolded. The film is another triumph for British studios. No woman can afford to miss it, if onU to feast her eyes on the gorgeous Paris gowns worn by the most wondrous galaxy of feminine beauty ever featu 1 in one film.
