The death is announced of Mr. Allen Stoneham, the introducer of electric railways into Victoria and Western Australia. He founded the French resort of Le Touquet, from which he amassed a great fortune, and much property, which included the town of Etaples, which he lent as a base for the Australian forces during the war.—Sun.
