TRAINING AT RANDWICK By Cable.—Press Association. —Copyright SYDNEY, To-day. For the final gallops at Randwick this morning, the going on the centre of the course proper was good in the early stages, but later, owing to light rain, the track became soft and cut up. The flags were 30ft out. Limerick, going well, beat Battlement, who was also in good condition, by four lengths, over ten furlongs in 2.18. Reonui beat Jocelyn over flve_in 1 35: Heroic went nine nicely in 1.58: 1.0. U. defeated Faleta by a margin over five, which took l-7i. Top Gallant did the best gallop of the morning, six in 1.15. Tookarby beat Count Cavour over ten furlongs, taking 2.131. Count Cavour held his own for a mile, but faded away in the last ouarter. Parody led Amounis over six furlongs, which occupied I.IS. The latter could have done much better. Naos and Imitator did ten in 2 14}. Pantheon beat Bagpipes over eight furlongs in 1.43. Windbag has not appeared on the tracks the last few days. The weather outlook for Easter is not promising, steady rain falling to-day. and tracks are already on the heavy side. A. and N.Z.
