(From Our Own Con m espondent.) AIORRINSVILLE, To-day. Lieu tenant-Colonel S. S. Allen, aide-'cle-camp to the Governor-General, Sir < 'harles Fergusson, and known to thousands of New Zealand soldiers as “Old Steve," was nominated for the mayoralty of Alorrinsville and elected unopposed.
