THE SEASON’S CRICKET A.C.A. MEETING The Auckland Cricket Association kas received the sum of £4OO from the estate of the late Sir Henry Brett. At last night’s meeting of the management committee. Mr. E. E. Nalder presiding, it was decided to invest the money. It was decided to vote the sum of £5 toward the expenses of the team which is to travel to Hamilton to play an Easter match against the South Auckland representatives. The appointment of a manager was left in the hands of Mr. E. C. Beale. A motion of condolence was passed with the treasurer, Mr. J. H. Watts, on the death of his brother. The final of the third-grade championship will be played between Epsom United and Henderson at Eden Park on Friday, play commencing at 10 a m. and concluding at 5.15 n.m . R. Riddolls, Y.M.C.A., was awarded Mr. J. H. Watts’s bat for the best bowling record during the month of March. He took nine wickets for 65 runs.
