THE MASSEY ACCENT

Ears which had heard Mr. Massey in his strength and vigour rattling off sentences with the rapidity of a Gatling gun, were intrigued at Epsom last night. The very same accent; almost the same phrasing. It seemed that the dead Prime Minister himself was speaking. The speaker was Mr. J. Molloy, an Epsom ratepayer. Incidentally, he hails from Mr. Massey’s own home country, the North of Ireland.
