Although delayed two days by inclement weather, double-timing on the part of the John Waters company making Zane Grey’s “Mysterious Rider” for Paramount, made it possible to finish location work at Palm Springs, California, just in time for the troupe to return to Hollywood before Christmas. Jack Holt, whose re-cent-picture, “Man of the Forest,” is to be released shortly, is playing the title role with Betty Jewel as his leading voman.
