HIPPODROME
“THE WILD BULL’S LAIR” Fred Thompson and his wonder horse, Silver King, in the Master Picture release, “The Wild Bull’s Lair,” is their most spectacular picture. A raging, maddened, ferocious animal, half bison, half bull, pawing to attack the helpless old man tied to a tree! His terrified daughter, crazed with fear, trembling in the background. The fiendish face of Eagle Eye, the half-breed, waiting his revenge. Then —a flashof white—a dashing horse, a big, athletic rider hurling himself off his mount—and just as the bull breaks loose, an heroic cowboy hurls himself across his head, grabbing the death-dealing horns and locking into the most spectacular battle ever staged for the screen! This film will be screened at the Hippodrome on Saturday as an Easter attraction.
Eddie Cantor, famous Broadway star, now under contract to Paramount, announces that, until further notice, he will not reply to letters addressed to him at the Paramount studio unless the envelope bears a special delivery stamp. Cantor is making as his second delivery for Paramount, his own comedy story “Special Delivery" and believes in being consistent. This applies particularly for requests for photographs, the comedian states.
