HAMILTON MAN’S DEATH
HOBSON STREET ACCIDENT Through being knocked down by a motor-car at the corner of Cook Street and Hobson Street last evening, Mr. Lisle Pritt, a carpenter, married, aged 2S. received injuries from which he died in hospital half an hour later. Mr. Pritt was crossing Hobson Street when he was struck by a motor-car driven by Mr. Colin Ldward Lannan, of West End Road, Herne Bay. He received severe injuries to the head and was rendered unconscious. Mr. Lannan drove the injured man to the hospital, where he died shortly afterwards without regaining consciousness. Mr. Pritt had been in the city only about a fortnight, having come from Hamilton, where he leaves a widow and two young children.
