MINING ACTIVE NEW SOUTH WALES EASIER Increased activity in mining was the feature of the business at this morning's calls on the Auckland Stock Exchange. Kawarau were dealt with at 2s 7d, leaving the market at 2s Bd, with buyers offering 2s 6d. Sales of Lucky Shot (con.) were made at 2s 2d, with more offering at that figure. Alburnia’s are firm at late quotations, and buyers are offering 3s 9d for both classes of Moanataiaris, though no business is resulting. In banks, New South Wales have eased, with sellers asking £SO 15s and no buyers quoting. Miscellaneous are firm, recording little alteration in quotations, though there is a steady inquiry for most classes of shares.
