This Oiled Canvas Coat is made exactly as illustrated, and is guaranteed thoroughly waterproof. It has velvet-lined collar, which can be fastened close to neck, large cape for protecting the shoulders, double front with auto clasp straps inside, and strap an buckle outside—auto clasp leg straps to prevent the Coat being blown open elastic storm cuffs in sleeves—two large pockets—and strong three-quarter lining. This high-grade material has been proofed strictly in accord with a scientifically prepared formula already tested in many thousands of our oiled canvas coats. By importing direct from the British manufacturers over 45,000 yards of material, and by skilful mass production, plus the addition of only one profit to our net factory cost, we are enabled to pass on to our customers a saving of 15/- to 21/- on the prices generally charged by others for an inferior kind of coat. The same regard for comfort and durability is evident in the other features of this splendid Coat. Note the snug-fitting collar, which is lined with corduroy velvet—the large cape, that comes well over the shoulders and back, with ventilating holes at back and under arms —the double front, with auto clasp straps inside and strap and buckle outside—auto clasp leg straps prevent the coat being blown open or flapping on the legs —the elastic storm cuffs in sleeves, which are lined throughout and have double piece on front of arm—the two large pockets—the three-quarter lining of strong fabric.
