LEAGUE CODE

REFEREES MEET The weekly meeting of the Rugby League Referees’ Association was held last evening. Mr. A. Ball presided. A notice jjf motion which is to be considered the next meeting of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby League, gives power to any delegate of a club to appear with a junior player before the junior Judicial committee. It was decided to support the motion, referees being of the opinion that in many cases lads needed support when appearing before the body. A certificate is to be issued by the association to each member taking his first international or interprovincial match. The season is to start on April 30, when a match has been arranged between an Auckland side and another team composed of those Aucklanders who toured with the “ Kiwis ” on thee English tour.
