Eady announced some time ago that he would not be offering his services again as a city councillor, but he was prevailed upon, by a deputation this morning, to reconsider his decision, and he will now be a candidate, and will be added to the Citizens’ Progressive Committee’s ticket, bringing the ticket to the full strength of 21. The deputation included Messrs G. Creagh, G. M. Fowlds, H. E. Vaile, A. G. Lunn and Didsbury. Mr. Eady explained that his previous decision was clue to increasing business responsibilities, but he felt that he could not refuse the request of such a representative deputation.
