CONFIRMATION SERVICE
(From Our Own Correspondent.) PAPAKURA, To-day. On Sunday afternoon the Archbishop, Dr. Aver ill, visited Papakura for the purpose of holding a confirmation service. He was attended by his chaplain. Archdeacon Simpkin. The vicar (the Rev. V\ . C. \\ ood) presented 32 candidates from Papakura, Karaka. Drury, and Takanim. The Archbishop delivered two addresses to the candidates and another one to the congregation. The choir, under Mr. Hardman, assisted with appropriate music. Miss h Willis presided at the organ. Mis Grace was afterwards entertained to afternoon tea by the Misses Willis. The official opening of tbe new vicarage adjacent to the church will be performed by the Archbishop on April 20, when he will be accompanied by Mrs. Averill. Several clergymen from the surrounding districts will also be presents
