A good attendance followed up the Raetihi Collie Club’s dog trials, which were concluded on Saturday, and resulted as follows; Long head and pull, class 1, H. H. Harris’s General Haig 1, J. McHardy s Jed 2, J. Scott’s John Peel 3. Short head, drive, and yard, class 2. F. King’s Real McKay 1, J. Scott’s Mataroa I’eel 2, H. H. Harris’s Brigadier Bill ‘ > ‘ Huntaway and slew, class 3, P. Norris’s Tip 1, IY G. Thompson's Doon 2, A. Malpas’s Spring 3. All-round clog event, class 4. A. Malpas’s Don 1, A. Malpas's Spring 2, F. Brown's Beauty 3. . Local special prizes were won by the following competitors: Messrs tV. Scarrow V Malpas. G. West (3). D. F. Scarrow' (4), and D. G. Thompson (2).
