PENGUIN AND PUFFIN.
Said a Penguin to a Puffin: “Zlo you fancy it will raint There are mists upon the water and a cloud above the plain.” Said the Puffin to the Penguin: “ Yet the sun is very bright; l think it won't be stormy but of course, you know it might.” Said the Penguin to the Puffin, with a sad and sorry whine: “If I take an umbrella, it will certainly be fine.” Said the Puffin to the Penguin, with a weary look of pain: “ And if I take a parasol, you know it's sure to rain.” And then the gentle Penguin laid his foot upon his brow: “I’ve found the way to settle it, and I will tell you how, ’Tis I will take the parasol, in case it should be wa r m, And you shall put the other up to guard against the storm ” Then all along the rocky way they waddled merrilee. And they were very happy, too, as far as I could see; But why they went a-waddling, and where they meant to go, They neither of them told me, and I didn't leant to know. JOHN LEA.
