grand reopening to-night During the last fortnight the Cabaret De Luxe lias been undergoing extensive alterations. i l ne dance floor has been altered and the comfort of the patrons studied from every angle, making Dixieland the most up-to-date cabaret in the Dominion. The new scheme of decoration is futuristic and with the novel lighting effects spacious and osy lounges, a beautiful palm lounge, the cooling *k»*. breezes that ventilate the cabaret, there is combination to give the dancing public of Auckland something entirely original. The Famous Internationals, under the leadership of Mr. Clyde Howley, will continue to dispense the latest and brightest dance hits of the day. The management of Dixieland has left no stone unturned to give the rtbaret the right atmosphere, and patrons are assured of a bright ai 1 happy time during the coming dance season. To-night the cabaret will open with A plain and fancy dress ball. Prizes will be awarded to the most original costume worn by a lady or gentleman. Dixieland is open every night except Friday, with a special afternoon dansant from three to five o’clock on Saturdays. As usual, the cabaret will be open on Sunday for afternoon tea.
