SECOND DAY MEETING FINE WEATHER PREVAILS (From Our Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, To-day. Perfect conditions again prevailed for the second day of the Whangarei County Dog Trials at Kamo yesterday. Some very good runs and clofce competition were witnessed. Results are as follow: Long Head, about 60 yards, tbtal points 50.—M. A. McLeod’s \ Waipu > ’Mack,” points, 1 ; C. Ambury's (Ruawai) -Rogue,” 433, 2; J. C. Blacklock’s (Herekino) “Don,” 431, 3: H. B. Sloane’s (Maunu) "Jinny.” 42, 4. Huntaway.—R. G. Cummings’s (Waimaterau) “Captain.” 434 points, 1: W. G. Cummings’s "Tam.” 424, 2: J. M. Butler’s (Opotiki) "Ben Nevis,” 40. 3; Mr. Harris’s "Silek,” 4.
