LAW SECURES VICTIM ALLEGED CASE OF FRAUD Press Association. BLENHEIM, To-day. The law’s long arm reached out this morning and arrested George Albert Mehretens. who has been wanted for three years, at Ashburton, for allegedly defrauding Messrs. Pyne, Gould, Guinness and Co. by selling sheep which were the subject of an instrument of security. He was remanded fco appear t Ashburton on the 15th instant.
