GIRLS’ SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP The girls' singles championship of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association was won yesterday by Miss Newton, 6—4, 4—6, 6—4. Miss Newton was not the winner as previously reported. When play was stopped by rain last week the score was 6—4. 3 —3, in favour of Miss Grenier.
